DJ Zinhle And Bonang Matheba In talks To Reconcile

The two media personalities are set to bury the hatchet after a love spat over rapper AKA who is said to have cheated on his Baby Mama Dj Zinhle  with Bonang Matheba according to a report.
The two legal teams representing Matheba and Jiyane will meet on Monday, Sunday World reports.
The efforts to reconcile were initiated by Jiyane, who sparked a nasty spat between herself and Matheba by releasing a statement that she had broken up with AKA, real name Kiernan Forbes because he had carried out a five-month affair with the Metro FM radio presenter.
Matheba replied by saying she was not involved in a relationship with anyone and handed the issue to her legal team headed by Bongani Khoza. A letter instructing Jiyane to withdraw her statements and apologise to Matheba was served with Jiyane leaving her legal team to handle the matter.
Surprisingly, Jiyane reached out to Matheba to settle the matter out of court. The two legal teams were supposed to meet last week but had to postpone due to busy schedules.
“We can only confirm the meeting has been moved to Monday,”
said Khoza of the apparent reconciliatory meeting.
Meanwhile, Sunday Times reports Matheba’s Revlon deal is under scrutiny. She is the South African face of the cosmetic brand. Meetings were held to discuss the scandal according to the weekly newspaper – Matheba told Revlon executives Jiyane would apologise.
“The corporate signed Miss Matheba fully aware of the fact that she is a personality and, as such, would from time to time receive negative publicity. We are quite satisfied with the response from the corporate”
“The engagement by our respective offices was quite fruitful,” read the statement.
But a well-placed source at Revlon said:
“Her lawyers met with Revlon, where they guaranteed Zinhle would apologise. But since that hasn’t happened, they’ve had to escalate the matter to their head office in Paris.”

7 Ways To Build Confidence When Going For An Interview [Philklefpalace]

Some people find it difficult maintaining confidence and composure during interviews, even when they prepared well. To this kind of people, its more of a mental issue.

I just wanna give some tips based on my own experience for those faced with this problem. It may not be a total solution, but I'm sure if you practice them well, you'll improve. Interviews are like any other experience in life, you get better by practicing and going for interviews.
Maintaining confidence is an inside and outside challenge. U want ur outside appearance to project self-assurance and u also want to feel it on d inside too.

1. A confident Smile: a smile projects confidence. The right way is to smile hard, and then relax it just a little. D corners of your mouth should be turned up slightly, but not too much. Practice it over d mirror!

2. A firm handshake: Having a good, firm handshake also communicates confidence. A gud handshake should be firm but not rib cracking. No girly, end of finger grab, or too stiff. Hold for a count of 3 then release.

3. Steady Eye Contact: Eyes are d window to a person's soul. Eye contact should be steady but not searing. It should be long enuf to come across as interested and confident, but not so long that the other person feels stared at. Its fine to break eye contact for a brief period and return again.

4. Listen attentively before answering: Some people are usually in a rush to form answers in dia head even when the question is still being asked. Dis is a bad listening skill. U shud wait for the question to be completed and understand it fisrt before answering.

5. Look and smell good: No overgrown hair, unironed clothes, dirty shoes, mouth odor, etc. All these make you loose confidence in yourself and affect your performance. You must have at least 2 good interview outfits in your wardrobe.

6. Practice self talk: Remind yourself that interviews are just a discussion and not do or die. Tell urself that u are prepared, u will do well, u will be fine.

7. See if you can discover a problem with the company: In my last interview, I told dem dat d company is loosing a lot of money becos they're not active on d social media. I explained to them and they were like woow! Dat was what gave me the job! Try if u can see a problem dat the company has and blow it out of proportion! They will employ u.

President Buhari to remove oil subsidy?

President Buhari plans to totally remove fuel subsidy and use the proceeds for the provision of free and compulsory primary/secondary education across the country. The administration is also said to be working on unbundling the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, to make it more efficient in the production and delivery of products to Nigerians.
These proposals form part of the strong recommendations made by the transition committee raised by Buhari to work out a blueprint for his administration.
Asked if the proposal for total subsidy removal had been discussed with labour, the source said that members of organized labour in the country were consulted by the committee and they made presentations on what should be done over the matter.

The source said:
“ Labour is part of the decision; they have accepted the proposal of fuel subsidy removal. “A committee is likely to be set up by the federal government to work out the modalities of what is to be done in that respect. “But the truth is that total removal of fuel subsidy has been recommended with adequate provisions for palliatives on free education and social welfare for the unemployed”, a member of the transition committee said.
The source pointed out that unlike in the past, the Buhari administration is considering the provision of free meals for students to serve as incentives for them to enroll in school.
